Projects, Projects, Everywhere!

In the view weeks since my last update, I have complete the scarf for my mom's birthday.  I chose the Prismatic Scarf and used Aslan Trends yarn.  I am very happy with the result.

I also completed a pair of Line by Line Fingerless Mittens.  I used KP's Gloss DK in Whirlpool, Coast Grey and Cranberry.  I had originally planned those for me.  Unfortunately, they were a little (a lot) long for my arms, so they went to my very dear friend, Carroll.  She was very surprised and happy with them.

So, now, I am finishing up the Sunday Swing socks I have been working on. I just started the foot on sock #2.  And I am waiting on 2 more boxes from KP!  I ordered some Telemark to do a pair of Walking Stripes fingerless mittens.  I also ordered 2 balls of City Tweed DK to play with.  I have picked a blanket to knit for my neighbors new baby (Plaid Baby Blanket by Yana Ivey).  I just need to order the yarn for that.  AND - I want to do a caridgan for myself.  I know, I bought yarn for the Classic Lines Cardi.  After the yarn arrived, I wasn't really happy with the color combo.  So, I posted it as willing to trade/sell on Ravelry.  Lucky for me, another Raveler needed just what I had posted.  So, she is getting what she needs to finish a table cloth and I am actually de-stashing just a little.  So, on to find a warmer cardi that I can whip up in City Tweed, I think.  Yay!  I can't wait!

Too Many Choices!

Last week I got not 1, but 2 boxes from Knit Picks!  Yay for me!  So, now I have yarn for my Classic Lines Cardi and for the fingerless mittens that I want to try.  Since then, I have decided to knit a sweater for my mom for her birthday at the end of this month.  Do I have yarn for that?  Nope!  I guess this means a trip to the LYS in my near future.  In the mean time, do I continue to work on the socks that I started?  Do I wind the yarn for my CLC and swatch?  Do I start knitting those fingerless mittens?  Or do I sit in front of the laptop, switching betwee Facebook, Ravelry and KP Knitting Community?  Too many choices!  I need to make a decision soon.  Mmmm, maybe I will go wind that yarn and swatch.  Yeah, we'll go with that.

Tired of Waiting

So, yesterday I finished the Cauchy socks that I was working on.  I don't want to work on my friend's afghan right now.  I was hoping that the mailman would bring me a happy box or two from Knit Picks.  No such luck.  Thank you SO much FedEx, who was supposed to deliver my boxes to the local post office.  I'm crossing my fingers that one or both of my boxes will be here tomorrow.  I have yarn for 2 projects in those boxes.  I'm tired of patiently waiting.  In my desperation, I cast on for another pair of socks today.  I know, though, that when my boxes arrive, these socks will be forgotten.  Oh well, they will keep my hands busy until then.
